Ronald Openshaw is CEO of Lucia Capital a specialist boutique strategic advisory firm founded in 2008 and focussed on the life sciences, biotech and pharma industries.  Lucia Capital provides M&A advice and strategic change management services. He was originally a physicist and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.  Following this Ronald became an investment banker holding senior roles at Panmure Gordon and Jefferies.  He has held a number of positions including Chairman, CEO, CFO and Corporate Development at companies including Simbec-Orion, Plethora Solutions and Pharmgene.  During the pandemic he built and ran a successful PCR testing laboratory from concept to full scale handling thousands of samples per day.  Today Ronald is focussed on delivering high value add M&A and advisory services to a select group of clients.
