Bio-entrepreneur, Investor and Mentor.  Over 30 years experince in the life science industry, 25 at Board level. He has been an academic (Oxford), bio-entrepreneur (two start-ups built and sold), investor (LP in Life Science Innovations,  Warsaw) and government advisor (UK and Poland).  With a proven ability to successfully commercialise scientific ideas Roland has vast experience in running and developing biotechnology-based organisations by effective communication with investors, management, scientists and customers. Over the last decade he has spent considerable time in the CEE region and understands the Polish life science sector from the perspective of a Western Practitioner.  As part of his activity since 2011 he has managed the intellectual aspects of lsbc Central European Life Science Conference, now in its 10^th edition.
